As proves to be the case frequently, my children have made me out to be a liar.
Mere hours after claiming I had figured out how to deal with my children’s sexual education (which pretty much resulted in doing nothing), I read them bedtime stories, during which both of them instantly stuck their hands down their pajamas.
I don’t know about your kids, but something about me reading to my kids results in a 50 percent chance that one or both of them will have the Pavlovian response to masturbate.
Coming from a “Free to be you and me” generation, I have never scolded or even addressed this Pavlovian need, am grateful it only occurs in the privacy and safety of our home, and figure they deserve a few more years of self-pleasure before someone makes them feel self-conscious about this.
I continued the evening in my “do nothing about sex ed, but tell yourself it’s because you’re so liberal” way and carried them to their respective beds, tucked them in and said good night.
I returned to my living room to find a beautiful man lying on my floor. I happen to know and like this man, so I joined him in his supine position.
“What’s that moaning sound?” my four-year-old daughter asked from her bed upstairs after half an hour.
“Holy s**t!” I whispered to beautiful man. "I can’t believe she’s awake. They always fall asleep as soon as I tuck them in. What should I say?”

1.
Most days the alarm is part of sleep, a dream’s ramp into light… or dark. Most of the year, the alarm goes off before the sun does, and the sound’s fireworks are the color of night but many times louder.
I rise as if to shut a door against intrusion, stumbling from bed and listening, behind the noise, for my own footfall as if it were someone else’s. My knee might be stiffer today or less stiff. My calf may have unclenched at last or my shoulder quieted its own ancient reminder I’m no water-skier or shot-putter. Today mysterious energy might be in me, or I may be starting the long slog to dusk again.
These are the habits of the possessed. Any will goes into regarding yourself from afar, to see if the creature lives and moves and how.
The desire to be upright waits on coffee. The desire for coffee waits on nothing. Coffee is my unshakable consort, the bitter mistress of consciousness. Sometimes I fill the coffeemaker just before bedtime, set its alarm, and pray the smell and sound of brewing will be the next day’s first joy. Many mornings it is, some days it’s just one nice note, playing evenly all day long, and sometimes coffee is friction louder than whatever is cranking, a base tone of resistance.
People tell me they wake up automatically without an alarm, but I would have to fall as the sun fell to achieve that. Maybe someday, I think. The road I’m on must go somewhere.

[1] Well in between studying for school and my Pediatric ICU Nursing competency exams, I’ve been trying to squeeze in some of my favorite author–Jodi Picoult. Currently I’m reading ‘Salem Falls’ which is excellent. I always enjoy her books though.
[2] Sadly, the last movie I saw was “The Nanny Diaries’ sheerly because the male lead in it is DELICIOUS. I couldnt really recommend it for any other reason. I’m also working through Scrubs and Entourage seasons on DVD.
[3] In terms of itunesin, I’ve been digging: [some of these might be a little stale, but oh well] Amy Winehouse, Lily Allen, the newest from KT Tunstall and Rascal Flats (a lil country never hurt anyone). Say Anything’s album “…Is A Real Boy” is awesome. I cant say enough good stuff about Say Anything. I’ve been in a “poppy” sorta mood since the middle of summer, and this album is a pop-rock musical of sorts. I found them because I was in LOVE with the song that closed out the Scrubs season finale in May, searched it out on the internet, and then downloaded it. It’s f...

- I sleep with a skunk, his name is Stinky, and he is Pepé Le Pew's cousin. On my 9th birthday, I remember sitting in the living room at my old house opening my family gifts before I left for school. My mom leaned over and whispered, "just pretend to like it, we can return it later," as I reached in the bag that my sister, then two years old, gave me and felt the stuffed animal skunk. From that night on, and through all the nights at home, Stinky's been with me. Please note that before then I'd never had a stuffed animal nor a "blankie" accompany me in my slumber.

Motion Photos that Songs and Lyrics Created
Motion-picture Show soundtracks are each day, even if Vocals and music are not entire parts of the film. euphony creates the modality, while Songs and their Words reward this mode. Yet, there are multiplications when the Songs and the Words from a specific movie soundtrack can be thought as extensive than the flick itself. These Vocals and their Words are more umpteen than just iconic. When one names a film, it is rare for anyone to familiar a unique song to it. However, with these Vocals, the Picture Shows are merely secondary. Here are some of the iconic Songs that dished up create and make Cinemas into what they’re now.
“My Heart Will Go On” by Celine Dion
Nil can be wider than Celine Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On.” The notable (and sometimes infamous) base song from the film Titanic is perhaps the biggest song ever Created for a film. And rightfully so, since Titanic is only the most high-ranking grossing moving picture in the universe (with a nationwide gross of over a billion dollars—a feat during its release, and an achievement no other celluloid has duplicated). Many would fence that this song isn’t just wide art. With Lyric Poems that go “Near, far, wherever you’re / I believe that the heart does go on / Once more you open the door / And you’re here in ...
